Hi anonymous (care to intro?),

Nenasi is in West Malaysia. Somewhere above Rompin. A nice place with lots of flats but not many people will go. The reason is sandflies.

It depends on what size boat are you booking that really affects your total cost for the trip. No one organised for us but we did it ourselves.

On the high side, S$350-S$400 is alot already if you are talking about spending alot on food and drinks plus hiring vehicles.

Normally, for 4 pax and hiring a small boat (max 5 pax including guide), each person will pay about $250 on the average.

By the way, we drove up and thus cost will be higher.

Thks 4 the info Ed, Steve here.

I think the eastern side facing the South China Sea is better rite ? We used 2 go out 2 Babi Besar, then Pulau Tioman & further away Permanggil. The boat ride is killing man, not 2 mention when u reached a wrong spot & it wld b worst.

Well, now I gave up sea fishing due 2 the hassle & time-consuming journey. Then looking at ur pics rev me up again thinking of those beautiful countryside plus fishing & fishing whole day thru' with a group of buddies sure was heaven bro. My kakis still going Indon island quite often, but the recent 'barats' is really bad man.

Hi Steve,

Our trip is affected by the storm and for Nenasi, only during calm days fish will bite. Only during mirror finish surface and super hot days, fish are all eager and willing.

For Nenasi, it takes about 3-4hrs drive (depending on how you all attack the roads... kekeke). As for fishing, it takes less than 30mins and you will reach spot one. For this part of the year during this time fishing is not as great there but still, the big ones are still around... I always have such lucks coming contacts with them but no further luck to bring them back. Oh well, it doesnt really matter as the company of friends are what we are really looking out for. Fun and more fun.

Dont give up on 'chionging' fishing trips. Relive your fishing days and enjoy. Good luck!

Regards.
Edward
