I have been eyeing on the Daiwa Alphas for a long time but I bought the new Shimano Calcutta 50 for 2006/2007 instead. I am very happy with the Cal 50 and sort of contended with it. Until just now, I come to know that Daiwa is coming out another new toy... Presso... a ultra finesse baitcaster for trout fishing!!! Read my mind??? Hmmm..... for such light wt lures..... we need an ultra finesse rod too...
