I was using the Yozuri Altima Spoon without any much success and got a little inspiration from Uncle Cheok's flies. I took a sexy red one and snapped it on. Further removed the treble to enchance its swimming action. It sure swims like a sexy model, Cheok agreed too.
On the second cast, fish on!
It was a very solid take which made me think that it is a big fellow as it also started to peel my line for a while like 5sec on 10lbs fireline. It was my third flip with my rod when I felt that adrenaline packed take!
It is so vivid that I could still feel the motion till today. I remembered the shock it gave me through my veins that got my hearting pumping faster. It is just like the turbo kicking in an Subaru WRX Sti, super torque endeavour!!!
