I caught quite a number of these 'mayans'. They proved to be stronger than peacock bass lbs for lbs. I just cant get tired fishing for them as they fight hard and dirty too. They would dash into underwater obstacles like broken branches or twigs and sometimes into underwater mud holes! Very touch and really very strong fish for such a size.
