CR 20041222 (saltwater)

Woke up early in the morning to catch the first bus out to Yio Chu Kang to meet up with my seniors for breakfast and FISHING of coz!

We were heading to some secret (not a secret lah) spot... kekekekeke
A saltwater one to be precise. Heard that many have landed snappers, groupers, barramundis, breams.... so many!!! I want to be one of those who tell others about it too!!! (Hey, you are sounding like a brat!)

We took our time, had breakfast first and then, a long drive to our spot. Green things welcomed us when we reached there. The birds were all singing and fresh air filled the place. The sky was cloudless and very clear. What a great morning followed by a great fishing experience for me too. (As long as I catch something at the end of it, it is always a bonus for me.)

Not to talk too much here but let the photos have their shots. Lure used a RIO prawn from Australia. All five barramundis landed on it. Missed one barramundi and another without knowing what though.

I had a great dinner and my family enjoyed it very much too. Although my wife nagged me almost to death about me fishing there, but she still enjoyed her dinner very much. The fish has no mud taste and simply great eating!!!

The worst things after the trip is the hangover from the previous night for not sleeping at all and... cleaning up the 5 bodies for food... and prepare dinner...

The best thing? The smiles of the family at the table, priceless!

First fish of the day!!! Not a bad one after one hour in the sun. 

It has been a long long time since I catch something with this Rio Prawn. I must have neglected it while it sits in the tackle box quitely waiting for its turn to proof its worth. Well done! 

Number two! My fingers are shaking. 2nd hook up within 10mins. 

This Rio Prawn is surely making my day with this number two. 

Third one! 3 in 15mins! I am in fishing heaven! 

First time I see a barrmundi bleed around the lips area. The trebles must have hit a large vessel somewhere. 

This number four is quite badly injured on its body but somehow, hunger always make a fish bite. 

My fifth fish and last one of the day. I have a great day! All barramundis. 

Barramundi says, "This prawn is so hard to swallow!"

Hi people, just to share with you my joy to be featured in FLYLOGIC's "fish tales" column.

I did not expect to be approved at all when I flipped through each individual tales. I just tell myself, just send it! "Who knows? You just might get selected."

I sent in a few photos which I think it just might make the mark and fortunately, I got in!

FLYLOGIC produces great reels. After 4 years, I have no complaints about the reel except for my carelessness to drop it twice. Once on the road and got a nick as a result. The second time, I dropped it at home. The custom knob which is made blue broke into a few small pieces. My heart sank...

Simple design but yet trustworthy enough. Absolutely no complaints. The drag is super smooth. Mechanical, 100% confident after 4yrs in the salt n fresh water. No signs of corrosion.

This reel brought back many good memories and it is still making history today.

Nice to be out there even it was drizzling.

This is the fly that I used today for spin fly. So far, it has proven deadly for peacock bass in my arsenal of flies. I tied them with circle hooks too. With a few variation of material but with the almost similar outlook.

One n only fish of the day for about an hour of fishing. Had a few misses along. I was spinning fly again.

Blank page once again!!!

Once again, when I log on to my blog this morning, I see a BLANK page again.

I really wonder what is happening and is it really true that someone does not like me and 'cracked' up my blog page intentionally?

This really dismays me. All my customization is washed down the drain. I think, perhaps without those customization... things might stay put as it is as always... I hope so.

Seeked help from the service provider but did not get any answers at all. GREAT!
