My big ang chor - golden snapper. Big fat nasty fighter. It took me around 10mins to bring this up. I was using GL2 6-10lbs spinning stick with Daiwa Whisker SS700 loaded with 10lbs fireline. Once again, the SS700 (made in Japan) proves to be a worthy reel to have. It subdued a 9kg barracuda back at home and now this about 3kg ang chor from 30m below. The reel screamed wildly at amazing speed. For a moment, I could hear my heart beats when the reel went off. Almost half a spool of line was out but the drag of this reel didnt fail me as usual. I won the battle, feet by feet.

Bidding farewell. This guy is really hardworking and he works perfectly well with the cook too. There is other two who took care of the rest of us on the boat fishing trip which I didnt go. Both sides, were as effective as well. Very nice trip we had. 

This man on the left, (sorry, I cant remember your name while writing this) had not slept for 48hrs... he was working late shift and gone to T.Pinang in the morning after work. He fished and fished and fished then finally knocked out at the end of the trip. Hardcore angler! 

At a certain direction, you dont get to see any isle at all. Just sea all the way across the horizon.

I wonder these rocks are there naturally or not. There are plenty of them around and if a boatman who is not familiar around them, it is going to be dangerous.

These dried fish can fetch some decent income for the locals. Excellent quality stuffs. 

"Hey sotongs! Wth, what are you doing? Sunbathing in the sun??? OMG" 

So peaceful, isnt it? The stars are even more wonderful at night. The star-lit sky melts me in the night... the waves cuddle me to sleep... (except those few guys who have 400cc, 800cc & 1000c engines that snore endlessly). I need to bring ear plugs next time... 

See how big this cove is? It is sand flats all the way with lots of corals on it. Cool! 

This is the boat that bring us to the floating kelong and the one used to bring anglers out to fish at night. Remember to bring along some good lights as this thing does not have a light at all. No light? Fishing in pitch darkness. Can you handle it? 

These man-made structures provide day and night shelthers for baitfish. We can see lots of them below and especially, directly underneath the house. You dont need a saltwater aquarium if you live here, really. We saw lots of really nice fish around which are considered pretty exotic in Singapore. If you live here, you have one of the biggest open aquarium in the world.  

This is a typical fishing boat of T.Pinang. It sure looks comfortable for up to 8 anlgers onboard with decent facilities. 

The coast line looks so clean and peaceful but it is a totally different world on the other side of the isle. You have to be there to really know what I mean here. Just remember that if you are going snorkelling, pls stay away from civilization as you dont want to see 'poo fish' floating around near your mask. Hahaha. 

Tea was served for all anglers when we got back on land. The service was excellent and the crews were very well trained and friendly and very very helpful at all times. The man on the extreme right is our cook and we all want him as our cook for our next trip too. He really fed us with his excellent cooking. It is a pity that I was too busy fishing and didnt shot the food to show how good were there. No dish had no leftover, imagine that. We had fried ginger chicken, mixed stirred fried vegetables, fried onion eggs and deep fried baitfish for dinner. Later we had fried baitfish again for beer plus fried sotong too. Yummy!!! I want more!!! 

This is what was left after my lunch. The bones belonged to the golden snapper. It has been such a long time since I tasted something that good. Yum yum... This mark the end of my trip in T.Pinang. I got back home in Singapore around 2130hrs and dragged my dead tired body back home. Actually, I wanted to go out but after washing up my equipment and myself, I spread myself out in my bed and slept. I had a good trip except for the lost of my GLoomis IMX C662 and my precious Abu Rocket 3500CS. It is still strange how it had happened... Overall, the trip is superb. I will be back there again. Oh yes, the massage back on land in T.Pinang was great too. Traditional massage which I almost screamed in pain. Hahaha.FUN!
